AlexAlexandra Morgan Carrasco (American professional soccer player) plays as a striker. She also serves as the captain of the San Diego Wave FC of National Women's Soccer League, the highest division for professional women's soccer. From 2018 to 2020, she was a co-captain of the US women's national soccer team alongside Megan Rapinoe. [8][98][9] Morgan was drafted as the number one player in the Western New York Flash's 2011 WPS Draft shortly after she graduated early from University of California, Berkeley. Morgan played for the California Golden Bears. The team made her professional debut and assisted the team in winning the league championship. Morgan was 22 at the time, making her one of the youngest players on the national team in the FIFA Women's World Cup 2011. The team came in second. In the 123rd minutes of the semi-final clash against Canada at the 2012 London Olympics she scored the game-winning goal.
