Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr., a tool and Die manufacturer who had previously been employed as a worker in a manufacturing company. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her 3 siblings. Stone was thought to be gifted academically as a child and began the second grade when she was five. In 1975 she was a graduate of Saegertown high school in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw her winning Miss Crawford County. Stone moved to New Jersey with her aunt New Jersey, where she pursued a career in modeling. The following month, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. While in Europe Stone spent a full year in Milano and Paris. Stone did, however, become unhappy with acting and modeling in Europe. She chose to keep her acting career going acting as a model while living in Europe. Stone was a 20-year-old in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" which received mixed praises.
