In the aftermath of a rage-filled meltdown, and a failure to getting the WWE Universe behind her Vickie was then pleasantly rehired to be Director of SmackDown by the late Mr. McMahon just weeks after her demotion from Raw. Vickie was able to do The Authority s bidding in the following weeks though she ended up in hot water once again. Vickie Guerrero took part in Roman Reigns against The Authority's requests to participate in The Authority's favored WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match qualifying Battle Royal after Stephanie McMahon spat out a contaminated frozen tea (and some more) onto Guerrero. The job she held was on the line the following week Vickie Guerrero had to fight Stephanie McMahon herself in a unusual encounter involving the tub that was filled with the smell of a brown, foul-smelling substance. Stephanie McMahon immediately fired Vickie as the SmackDown General Manager after Stephanie beat her and then threw Vickie in the nasty muck. Vickie finished her career on a high but not before she was able to throw Stephanie into the muck that was viscous!
